Guy Édoin began his career with a trilogy of short films entitled Les Affluents (Le Pont, Les Eaux Mortes et La Battue). His first films have been shown worldwide, in over 150 festivals such as Locarno, Toronto, Clermont-Ferrand and Namur. In 2011, his first feature film Marécages had its world premiere at the International Critics’ Week in Venice and opened the Canada First section at the Toronto International Film Festival. In addition to being featured in numerous international festivals, the film was also selected by ‘’Canada’s Top Ten”. In 2013, Guy Édoin screened Corno, his documentary on the painter Joanne Corneau. The film won the Prix du public at the Festival international du film sur l’Art (FIFA) in Montreal. Ville-Marie is his second feature film.


Sandra Bagaria is the main protagonist of Le Profil Amina, a feature length documentary based on her own experience, selected in a multitude of international film festivals including Sundance, Hot Docs and Outfest, and shortlisted by the Academy Awards as Canada’s entry to the Oscars for Best Feature Documentary. After studying literature and working for a time in television in Paris, Sandra pursued her career in Canada since 2003, cultivating interests at the intersection of culture, media, technology and current affairs. She is now working as an independent project manager, where she specializes in cultural and media oriented ventures.


Ziad Touma is a producer, director and writer working in film, television and transmedia, in both fiction and documentary, in French and in English. His projects include the award-winning feature film Saved by the Belles, the short films Line- Up and Dinner at Bubby’s, the interactive series The Judas for radiocanada.ca and the television series Webdreams and Kink for Showcase. Through his production company Couzin Films, Ziad recently produced the features The Sound of Trees and The Guardian Angel.
